About GECEMA

The Gadsden/Etowah County Emergency Management Agency is a City of Gadsden agency which serves all citizens in Etowah County. The EMA is here to coordinate basic disaster capabilities of local government. The EMA is also the county's coordinating body with state and federal agencies to assure the citizens of Etowah County are fully protected and accommodated before, during, and after disaster strikes.

In addition to handling disasters and emergencies, the EMA has worked to help various emergency agencies around the county acquire resources to make their job...
